You are invited to join the Every Day Counts Exchange, which is a new outreach and training communication tool designed to connect America’s local and tribal transportation officials with each other, the Federal Highway Administration, their State Department of Transportation and other stakeholders involved in deploying EDC initiatives.
What is EDC-Exchange? EDC-Exchange will be a regularly scheduled series of “dynamic webinars”.
The in-person learning sessions will describe effective project development and delivery practices, tools and “market ready” technologies that local and tribal transportation agencies maybe readily implement into their programs. FHWA national subject matter experts, in conjunction with FHWA and State DOT field office experts, will provide information, materials, and facilitate discussions designed specifically for the local/tribal transportation managers.
Registration & Location Information
How will attendees participate in EDC-Exchange? Attendees will need to register through the Idaho T2 Center website (www.idahot2.org) prior to attending. You will need a user name and password. If you do not have one, you can request one from the main page of the website.
The Exchange will take place at a number of sites across the Nation as well as the six ITD District offices. When you register for the event the attendee will be able to select the site that they would like to attend. FHWA will be using their Adobe Connect system to reach the national audience with their interactive webinar presenters by text chat, polls, surveys, or voice, calling in questions to the subject matter experts who will then respond during the program. The audience will also have the additional benefit of local, state and FHWA experts through the ITD system to facilitate the discussion and answer questions geared to the local level.
