Safety Fest of the Great Northwest is a FREE 4 day conference available to the workforce in construction, general industry, and transportation, which provides safety and health training in an effort to help reduce fatalities, injuries and illnesses on the job. Some classes will fulfill some Road Scholar core classes and electives. If you take qualifying classes, you must contact Idaho T2 to get credit.

Please visit the Media Library for your on-going training needs. There are over 1,200 items available for checkout, covering many subjects, from highway related training to health.

Note: If you are not sure which category your media is located in, just type all or part of the title or subject in the Media Search box. All media with your subject will be listed for checkout.

Please let us know if you have any questions or problems with DVD/video checkouts. Each item is followed by DVD, VHS or CD to identify the media type.

If you are interested in obtaining any of these, you can request them online. On the left hand side of this screen under “login”, click “request login”. Once you have been issued a user name and password, you can make your selection on the Media Library page which will send an email to idahot2@lhtac.org with your request.

Newest additions to the Media Library DVD section:

DSA1259 – Equipment Guarding – MSHA. This DVD provides information on mining machinery safety measures.
DSA5302 – Truck Haulage Safety Series – MSHA. This DVD reviews important principles of haul road design and maintenance, braking system inspection and maintenance, and driver procedures for handling highway truck runaways.

The Idaho T2 Center is glad to help with any specific classes you would like to see available in your area. If you have a particular class that you would like to attend, send us an email and let us know!

We are also able to accommodate agencies who would like to hold a class at their location. The minimum requirement for the number of attendees is 15.
